Claire Williams
My name is Claire Williams and I am a first year from Sacramento, California. I am currently a political science major living on campus in Santa Rosa Residence Hall. I am actually not directly from the city of Sacramento, however, that is the closest landmark city to my smaller town of Fair Oaks. I have lived in Fair Oaks all of my life with my mom Monica, my dad Howard, older sister Megan and younger brother Kevin. Megan is two years older than me and is finishing up her junior year at the University of Oregon (currently she is studying abroad in London until July 1st) and Kevin is three years younger and a freshmen in high school. I also have a dog named Mia, a cat named Princess, two Nigerian dwarf goats named Buster and Marco (after two Giants players), and 12 chickens. I was never one for sports and instead had a passion for theater. I was involved with productions since a young age and hope to continue it here. I worked at a Baskin Robbins scooping ice cream for two years in high school and will pick that job back up during summer as well as being a nanny for twin girls. I hope to get more involved at Santa Barbara and really make this place feel like home. I can't wait for spring quarter and the new adventures it has to offer with beautiful weather and unforgettable memories.
